Face, Body, & Intimate Waxing
Before Care
- Medications:
- Certain medications can affect the skin such as retinoids (differin, tretinoin, retin-A), topical/oral antibiotics, topical/oral acne medications, steroid medications. You may not be able to be waxed while on these medications.
- These medication may thin the skin, making it prone to lifting when wax is removed (will remove a layer of skin)

- Hair Length:
- Hair must be at least ¼” long to be waxed
- hair can be longer and will be trimmed with hair trimmers
- If you normally shave, wait approximately 2 weeks before getting waxed
- Hair must be at least ¼” long to be waxed
- Exfoliation:
- You may gently exfoliate the area to be waxed 24 hours prior to appointment (for intimate and body waxing)
After Care
especially for body and intimate waxing
- For 24 hours: avoid saunas, very hot showers or baths, vigorous exercise or activities that may make you sweat
- After 24 hours: you may exfoliate with a manual scrub (sugar or sea salt scrub) or a chemical exfoliant (AHA, glycolic acid, etc.)
- Repeat exfoliation 2-4 times a week to prevent in-grown hair, or 5-7 times a week if you are very prone to ingrown hair
- Book your appointments every 4 weeks
Lash Lift Care
The Day of Appointment:
- Come to your appointment makeup-free
- Be prepared to lay flat on your back for 1 hour
For 24-48 Hours After:
- Avoid water, makeup/products, and heat/steam on lashes
- Do not sleep on face/lashes, this may affect the curl pattern
General Aftercare:
- You may use mascara, but avoid waterproof, it may dry out your lashes
- Use a gentle cleanser or micellar water to remove makeup
- You may use a heated lash curler, but refrain from using traditional lash curlers
Brow Lamination
The Day of Appointment:
- Come to your appointment makeup-free
- Be prepared to lay flat on your back for 30-45 minutes
For 24-48 Hours After:
- Avoid water, oil, makeup/products or heat/steam on brows
- Do not sleep on face/brows, this may affect the brow shape
General Aftercare:
- When you wash your face (after 24-48 hours), your brows may return to where they typically lay, but the lamination is still there
- brush through your brows with a spoolie to arrange your brows as desired
- You may use brow powders, pencils, or gels after the 24-48 hour period
- Rebook in 5-6 weeks
Event Makeup Application
- Skin Preparation:
- Skin must be clean and free of all traces of makeup with regular skincare products applied
- What to Wear:
- Wear a shirt with a wide neckline or a button up shirt to prevent your makeup from smudging if you change outfits
- Allergies or skin sensitivities
- Please disclose at least 24 hours before appointment time so that appropriate alternatives may be discussed
Event Hair Styling
- Hair Preparation: Hair should be washed and blow-dried smooth the night before or the morning of the appointment
- To utilize natural wave/curl pattern, style and dry hair as normal with preferred products to achieve desired curl definition- I will utilize tools and hair products to refine your texture for your hairstyle
- Clip-in extension installation is an additional fee
- Gently wash, condition, and dry them before your appointment
- What to Wear/Bring
- shirt with a wide neckline or a button up shirt if you are changing outfits
- Bring any hair pieces/accessories, if using
- Allergies or skin sensitivities: Please disclose at least 24 hours before appointment time so that appropriate alternatives may be discussed
