Violet & Lavender Timeline and Process
Consultation
8-12 months before wedding
We will schedule a video call or in-person meeting to answer any questions and to see if I am the right fit for you. In-person meetings will take place in the Violet & Lavender suite.
Book your Date
8-12 months before wedding
After our consultation, I will send you a contract to review and submit for approval. Your wedding date is secured after payment of non-refundable retainer of 50% of the total dollar amount of wedding day services.
Request Wedding Party Services
8-12 months before wedding
You will complete a Service Request Form to names of your wedding party and services that are requested for the wedding day.
Create Wedding Day Timeline
4-7 months before wedding
I will create a timeline of hair and makeup services for the wedding morning. Requests for adjustments must submitted no later than 10 weeks before the wedding date for approval. Timeline is finalized at 9 weeks before the wedding date.
Look Preview for Guest of Honor
1-2 months before wedding
This is a trial of your hair/makeup look to ensure that we are creating a look that you love. This is a collaborative and interactive experience. See what to expect and how to prepare here.
Invoice Sent
8 weeks before wedding
I will email an itemized invoice with your remaining balance for services plus any additional fees (travel, lodging, additional artist fees, etc.). Payment is due on or before the wedding day. Any additional artists I have secured will be paid directly for services provided.
Wedding Day
Prep for your appointment and enjoy your hair and makeup services. Give yourself time to relax before the festivities!
