Why Would I Want a Brow Lamination?
If you have these goals for your eyebrows:
- to look fuller
- to tame hairs that grow in different directions
- to darken brow color and/or enhance their shape and structure
You can get these results with a brow lamination and tint.
How Does it Work?
- A brow lamination is like a perm.
- For a perm, the hair is wrapped around a rod and solutions are applied to the hair so that the hair keeps the curl pattern of the rod.
- For a brow lamination, the brows are brushed upwards and into the desired shape.
- Then they are secured using a using a water soluble adhesive.
- Solutions are added to the brows to keep them in that shape. It is like using a brow gel to hold your brows in the desired shape, but it lasts 5-6 weeks.
How do I Prepare for my Appointment?
Before Your Appointment
- Come to your appointment makeup free.
- Be prepared to lie flat on your back for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
After Your Appointment
- For the next 24-48 hours:
- Avoid water, oils, makeup/products on your brows.
- Avoid heat/steam.
- Be careful when cooking on a stovetop or the oven- the steam can alter the shape of your brow lamination.
- Do not sleep on face/brows- this can alter the shape.
- General Aftercare
- After you wash your face, you may notice that the brows will fall back into their typical shape.
- Don’t worry the lamination is still there. Simply brush through your brows with a spoolie to arrange them as desired.
- Rebook in 5-6 weeks.
